Challenge: Write a plugin for Electrum.

Prize: 1 Million Satoshis

The plugin can be whatever the contestants find interesting, plugins can interact with the lightning, onchain and nostr functionality of Electrum so many things could be built.

Ideas

I have collected the following list of ideas for plugins as inspiration, but really any plugin can be submitted:

• payjoin
• joinmarket client
• ecash things
• lnproxy client (or server?)
• robosats client (tor api or nostr api)
• hardware signer tricks / usb hardware plugin
• signet/testnet/mutinynet faucet client
• chat/communication (nostr or onion messages)
• nostr tx label sync
• plugin app store (e.g. nostr or repository based discovery of other plugins, like an App Store on the smartphone but for plugins in Electrum)
• IRC client (e.g. "community chat")

Requirements

• pure python (additional (python) dependencies (not included in Electrum) should be bundled in the zip file), so it runs with the Electrum binaries (AppImage, dmg, etc.)
